BAG® Circular Column Formers

We design our BAG® Circular Column Formers as a single-use formwork system that provides an excellent smooth fair-face surface finish.
We manufacture the BAG® Circular Column Formers by welding several layers of high-quality polyethylene-coated kraft paper together. These layers are spirally wound and bonded by heating the polyethylene. Afterward, we spirally wind a water-resistant foil over the kraft paper to seal the column against humidity. This process requires no additional adhesives, which reduces the wall thickness and makes the BAG® Column Formers lightweight and easy to handle.

Lined – We fit a PVC liner along the entire length of the inner diameter of the BAG® Column Formers, providing an impeccably smooth finish. The BAG® Column Formers leave only a hairline seam on the concrete where the liner joint meets.
Unlined – BAG® Column Formers are also available unlined for applications where surface finish is not critical. This Column Former will leave a spiral effect on the finished column.
Square – BAG® can offer square or rectangular columns on request, made from our standard Column Former with an additional polystyrene insert, manufactured to your specific requirements.
Bespoke – BAG ® can also offer made to order bespoke designs. Please contact our sales team for more details.

Water Resistant:
The manufacturing process and the outer layer of foil make the Column Formers water-resistant, sealing them against humidity. You will need to protect them when storing in direct contact with rain and water.
